Delivery Policy

What is the minimum order?

At Malvón, we make the greatest effort to offer our empanadas at the best price. Currently, as a temporary measure due to the COVID-19 crisis, the minimum online order cost varies depending on the shop, between €2.95 and €4.95. We apologise for the inconvenience.

When will I receive my order? What delivery options do I have?

The delivery options depend on your postal code, but you should receive your empanadas within approximately 30 minutes, Monday to Sunday. Depending on your postal code, you can choose to have your order delivered at any time between 10 am and 10 pm.

What payment methods are available?

Malvón accepts several methods, depending on the country. You will see what payment methods are available in your country when you place your order. You can choose your preferred method from the drop-down list. If card-payment is available, we accept credit and debit cards such as Visa and MasterCard.

Is it safe to enter my credit card?

Our payment system is totally secure. To guarantee your security, we do not save any of your bank details. We use the same payment platform as companies such as Twitter, Shopify and Instacart.

What is the order confirmation?

If you do not receive our order confirmation email on completing your order with Malvón, please check your spam folder. If you still haven’t received it, we advise you to contact the shop where you made your order to make sure it was received and fulfilled. Remember, you need to send us your email address to receive confirmation.

It does not recognise my address. What can I do?

The Malvón shops are responsible for keeping the street maps up to date. If our locator does not recognise your address, it may be because they do not deliver to your area, or perhaps due to an error when entering your street or door number. We recommend you contact our Customer Service department or your nearest Malvón shop.

Why have I been asked to verify my identity?

We a firm intention to ensure that our platform is reliable and safe for you and for all the Malvón members. Accordingly, our agents may ask you for proof of identity if any unusual activity is detected. If this occurs, you will need to attach the documents requested in order to continue to use your Malvón account.
Your safety is crucial for us. We therefore ask you not to share your account nor your payment details with anyone who does not work for Malvón. We also wish to remind you of the importance of having a different password for each of the platforms you use.
If you suspect that someone is using your credit/debit card on our platform without your consent, contact us right away through our contact form and take all the necessary steps by contacting the authorities and your bank.

Cancellation/Returns Policy

Cancelling an order

To cancel an order, you must contact the shop which is preparing your order. You can find the shop’s phone number on the confirmation email you received or by consulting our shop Locator.

Changing an order

If you wish to change an order, you can do so by contacting your Malvón shop. Once your order is accepted, both you and the shop have each other’s phone number to quickly resolve any query that may arise.

Wrong order

If your order is incorrect or has arrived in bad condition, please contact us so that we can offer you the best solution. Please contact your local Malvón shop. You can find the shop’s phone number on the confirmation email you received or by consulting our Shop locator.

My empanadas have arrived but they are not of the quality I expected

We care about every detail of the empanadas we bake and serve. In fact, we are obsessed.

I wish to cancel my order. Will I be charged for the cancellation?

You can cancel your orders. However the following cancellation charges may be applied, based on the following factors:

(1) If we have already heated up the empanadas you will be charged for them because they can not be reheated more than once for any customer since this causes them to lose their flavour and quality.

(2) If delivery has already been arranged, you will be charged a cancellation fee.

(3) If the empanadas have already been heated and delivery has been arranged, you will be charged for the price of the products and a cancellation fee.

(4) If the delivery rider has already arrived at the delivery address and has completed the order, you will be charged for the products and the delivery cost. Be aware that food orders can not be returned.
